150 Boys and Girls - 4 to 18 Years Old - Beginners to County Players

If you are U6, U8, or U10, you'll play in a mixed group and we train on Sundays 9-10am at Ball Lane Astro, Kennington; for U12 girls and boys we train 10-11am at Ball Lane Astro, and U14 and U16 girls train at 10-11.30 at Towers School Astro with U14 and U16 boys at Towers School Astro 9-10am.

We know that one of the worries that new hockey players sometimes have, is that the other people in their group will be much better than them. Don't worry! We welcome juniors who have never played before, all the way through to someone who has played for several years - if you start playing, that is the way to get better! And if you are worried about not knowing anyone, bring a friend - but with 150 juniors you will soon make new friends.

Interested? Simply turn up on any Sunday between September and April, at Ball Lane astro, Kennington, go to the clubhouse and say hello at the registration point inside. There is no pressure to join immediately and you can try it out for the first two sessions, to see if you like it. Wear any suitable clothing, trainers, shinpads, and if you have a mouth guard bring that along. If you have a stick great, if not, we can let you use one.
