L1 2021/22 End of Season Report

Ladies 1 P22 W6 D5 L11 GF33 GA53 GD-20 PTS 23 POS 10th
The Ladies 1s season of 21/22 brought a lot of highs and lows. We won 6 games, drew 5 and lost 11. Many of our games were close calls and we were unlucky not to turn them into wins. Despite our lows the team never managed to lose faith and we still had an amazing season. From the laughs, falls and injuries the ladies always played with passion and strength. We never backed down and deserved not to get relegated. A lot of ladies will be leaving us this year to go to University and they will be sadly missed. Bring on the season of 22/23 and we look forward to welcoming a new Ladies 1s team.

Most Improved Player: Sienna Mobbs joined the Ladies 1s half way through the beginning of the season and instantly jelled with the team. Her passion and commitment to the game shows every time she plays. She is a versatile and hardworking player who undoubtably deserves the most improved player of the season.

Laura Brightling is a passionate, hard working and consistent player of the Ladies 1s. Over the years X has improved tremendously and this season she has truly showed her skills and abilities to control the game as a centre midfielder. She never gives up and this is one of her greatest qualities. X’s consistency of play is shown by the amount of times she was awarded player of the match over the season. She is a lovely person as well as a fantastic player who deserves this years player of the season.
