Ashford threes played at home this week against Canterbury's Millers. Ashford were eager to get a win for their campaigne having conceded a 9-1 loss the week prior.

The game started strong with Ashford gaining a short corner early on. The corner was injected by Mike Wood where Chambers trapped it for Andy Hill to take the shot that was saved. Thankfully the ball dropped to Chris Browning who managed to sneak his shot away into the bottom corner. The second goal came quickly after with a build up of play that lead to Chris Browning to hit home his second of the day from the top of the D. Leading into the last 15 minutes of the first half, Ashford brought together some amazing hockey with a transfer around the defence that ended up with Mike Wood running down the left wing to then slap the ball into the D were Andy Hill deflected it down and through the legs of the keeper to score the 3rd for the Ashford threes.

In the second half, Ashford wanted to bury the game which they did with Allan Dawson using some link up play to take a shot round the keeper and score his first goal for a while. Sam hunt entered the field and after a poor first touch didn't wait long till he got involved with the goals, scoring with a tidy reverse shot which landed beautifully in the bottom corner. Later into the second half is when ashford scored their 6th from Andy Hill who must have been jealous with Sam Hunts goal so reciprocated and scored a lovely reverse shot with his back to goal. Cleary 6 goals wasnt enough for Ashford as Chris Browning scored the 7th goal of the game sealing his hat-trick with a back-to-goal shot that went under the keeper to seal the game.

Ashford 3s play away against Marden next week and hope to keep this winning streak going.
